Over the last half decade, the development of new drugs and vaccines has accelerated in response to global health crises like the COVID-19 pandemic. Moreover, with the globalization of pharmaceutical markets, medicines are now distributed across diverse populations with varying genetic backgrounds, lifestyles, and healthcare practices. This highlights the necessity for more stringent and effective pharmacovigilance practices, which are expected to become increasingly important over the coming years.

Effective pharmacovigilance relies heavily on good data management. In fact, they are two sides of the same coin. Good data management ensures the information collected about medications and their side effects is accurate, complete, and organized.
